This was originally the gift shop area a few years ago. Base reading is registering at 16.5-16.6˚.
Glass work – slight movement, twisting feel and then moved quite significantly with everyone’s fingers turned upside down so as to avoid the possibility of any unconscious movement. (By doing this it makes it more difficult to push the glass as opposed to placing the fingers onto the glass). I picked up on 2 names, one being John and the other was slightly unclear but going towards Emily or Emma, I will give further information later in the report.

Moving onto crystal divination. Black crystal being used. It is twitching at the bottom like on a past vigil at Bisham Abbey. Another person used the metal spiral crystal, set out the boundaries for identifying yes or no directions, this appeared to be quite successful.
One of the female members in the group (Naomi) is asking the questions out using the crystal for responses.

Temperature readings are now between 10.3-11.8˚ (previous readings were 16.5-16.6˚). This could just be a natural reason i.e. the evening is progressing so naturally rooms will start to cool down that do not have heating facilities in them and also there are gaps in the doors – so I personally think that this would be the most logical explanation for this drop in temperature. A later reading registers the temperature between 13.7-14.6˚ near to the doors.
A male member within the group is now using the crystal.

Top of Stairs and Tack Room (with Sara) – 00:25- 01:14 a.m.
When arriving at the stair area I get the sick feeling, I am also sensing a strong male presence, I have to say it is an uneasy feel from the bottom to the top of the stairs. At the top of the stairs it is quite disorientating, the feeling of being dizzy, together with a heavy chest feeling. Initial temperature reading is 5.4-5.6˚ and the initial temperature reading in the through room is 7.2˚. I am also getting the impression of the group not being wanted in this area.
Some of the group are conducting glass divination experiments.
I am not on the glass but ask…
“If you had a problem with your back can you please move the glass” – the glass moves. (I ask this question as I am getting quite a severe back pain – to the extent I need to bend over to try and alleviate the pain. Prior to coming to this vigil I should make it clear that I had no problems with my back in this regard). A male within the group is also experiencing the back pain.
I pose the question…
“if you are wanting to impose these feelings on people then use that energy to move the glass for us please” – there was no response to this question.
We then move onto the human pendulum experiment and Naomi has volunteered to act as pendulum. This took place between the top of the stairs walk through and the adjoining room which had some positive responses. However, for some unknown reason my Dictaphone has not recorded any of the details – I should point out that the equipment was fine prior to the investigation and as seen above, during the first part. The batteries were ok and the red light was on to indicate recording was taking place. Make of this what you wish – I cannot explain why this has occurred. In fact, a whole side of the tape has not recorded!
Leaving the above vigil area and returning to the base room any feelings being experienced as first mentioned appeared to disappear, there was no more back pain or sick feelings being experienced!
There are 3 areas here – one is the main room you enter, then there is a side room base reading is 3.3˚ and then there is an area to the rear of the room. Base readings = 5.7˚ and 6.4-5˚ in the arcade room generally.
Some people are scrying with the mirror – one girl in the group appeared to adopt, under her impression, that of a witch with the pointed hat and then she changed into a soldier.

Some people in the group notice a light above us – this could perhaps be the result of another group above us using their flash lights as there were gaps in the floor boards!

It was later confirmed to me that there was a John linked to the building who was not the nicest of characters, he gave out/felt it was his right to dish out punishment especially to females “of the night!” Emily is a name also associated with the building but rarely picked up on by people.
