No EMF fluctuations and nothing recorded on the dictaphone.
Someone picked up on a young male, boy, a few members of the group were experiencing temperature fluctuations, cold spots, but it should be borne in mind that we were on a train platform and there were gaps beneath the doors. I sensed a young girl, possibly aged around 10 years and the name Ann or Annie became apparent.
Myself and a couple of other team members saw a shadow pass across the bottom of the door leading into the place we were currently in. Another team member then went outside and walked across the door area from a variety of directions and although a shadow was cast, it was too dark compared to what had actually been seen. There were other group members outside but they were nowhere near our group which would warrant any reflecting shadows, so we do not know what actually caused the said shadow.
Vigil 2 - Team Room
23:40 p.m. - 00:25 a.m.
No EMF fluctuations. The Medium with our group said he wasn't convinced that this had always been a tea-room. He picked up on soldiers in the stair area (to be investigated later in the evening) but also sensed them in here too. He also picks up on a spirit singing Ave Maria, asks for a name - nothing registers on the dictaphone. The only thing registering on the dictaphone in this area is a "dog bark" type of sound - and I should point out here that it is not the dogs in the vicinity - as their barks are a completely different sound to that recorded.
The Medium also picks up on a female station master in this area, a well educated lady and also a male child at the bottom of the steps mentioned above, saying he had fallen, broken his neck, but didn't die straight away. The child was aware of people going past him but not stopping to help him. The female station master stopped but was unable to help the child. The Medium then goes onto say the young child was wearing a flat cap, multi-coloured cardigan, jacket, grey shorts and had an envelope attached to his jacket. I believe this is typical of the dress code in past times of this era. (The station goes back to 1912!) He goes onto say that he feels it is close to his time to cross over, but is not quite ready to go yet. He then proceeds to say that he can't put a time period on this, but probably between the wars - 1920's.
I didn't personally witness or feel anything in this particular area of investigation.
Vigil 3 - Railway Tracks
01:25-01:50 a.m.
Some of the group were experiencing pains in the chest on a particular part of the tracks, I did not.
The Medium senses people walking on the track for some distance but could not ascertain why.
Apparently, a man and his dog were killed on the tracks - the suggestion is perhaps that the 2 tracks previously used (which are now one), the man perhaps walked on one of the tracks where the trains maybe didn't run on (for whatever reason), but on the day in question perhaps the train used said track, thereby resulting in the deaths of the man and his dog. The Medium felt it was an accidental death, not suicide.
Nothing registered on the dictaphone and the EMF was not used out here. I didn't experience anything in this area.
Vigil 4 - Stairs
02:00-02:35 a.m.
I didn't think there was anything to experience in this area, very quite, very flat. Nothing recorded on the dictaphone.
Other team members - someone picked up on the young boy again and also heard a whistle sound.
This area is open to the elements at the top of the stairs, which is where we were all based on this particular occasion.
A tapping sound was heard in here which initially we were unable to identify its location. Eventually we identified it as being the gas lamp in the room.
EMF went up briefly to the second green light on 2 separate occasions.
I believe it was Dee who sensed a male presence in this area.
There was also mention by someone else of a lady called Madge who had been employed in 1915 as a porter, gave an interview in the 1900's, talked about working also in the tea-room in 1978 - is this who was picked up on earlier by the Medium? See previous accounts noted above.
Again, I did not personally experience anything specific in this area.
Vigil 7 - Ticket Office
03:50-04:05 a.m.
This room had a very different feel to it, compared with all the other areas investigated thoughout the night.
It seemed rather quiet in here again.
Dee felt quite dizzy in this area.
The EMF fluctuated quite a few times in here up to the 3rd light (orange).
I think, personally, this room was at a slight angle, perhaps this is a logical reason for the way Dee was feeling? When sitting down, you felt like you were almost tipping as a result of flat flooring.
Debrief - 04:15 a.m.
Ticket Office
It was felt that this area has a different feel to the other areas investigated.
Railway Track
Picking up of people walking on the tracks, mainly residual.
Waiting Room/Ladies Toilets
Good response to glass divination for those utilising this experiment. A tap came on in the toilet area. The name of Florence detected. A lady and dog detected. Young children, both male and female detected. Dee picked up on a young girl with blonde hair.
Stairs
The sense that a young male child had fallen and also the sense of soldiers.
General
Dee picked up on a "flash" of a soldier possibly leaving for War, then she saw another soldier with an amputated left left. She felt this was the same soldier. She got the name of Paul.
There is apparently a report of a boy falling down the stairs, he broke his neck, it is understood that he was aware of others running past him to get the train but not stopping to help and in the subsequent rush he was knocked over. He was on his own, however others say he was with his sister.
Stef commented that the humidity in the waiting room whilst the glass divination was underway dropped by 3% whilst the glass was moving and rose again when the glass stopped.
