Following on from the Children in Need event, some of us revisited The Grove Hospital to conduct further vigils. One of the guests, Ian Shillito was also in attendance.
Rehabilitation Unit
Our group consisted of John, Nicky, Rob, Jane and myself.
Various things were being experienced in this room. Rob picked up on the name “Tom”, Jane experienced a tingly arm and also took a picture, the image of which, shows Rob with a scar on his head. Jane then asked whether Tom had any injuries. Nothing confirmed either way.
The further name of Alan was identified.
Rob said he felt a strong connection to a matron who may have worked there and also to an Alan... (whether Alan is a Christian or surname we do not know and this was not established at this time).
A further picture taken by Jane seemed to intimate a large shadow around Rob’s legs. Whether this was a lighting issue in the room is unknown.

Room to the side of the Rehabilitation Unit
This is the room where I got an “orb” above the group of people holding a séance on the previous visit.
Not too much happening in this room. The name of George was picked up on.
The battery on Nicky's camcorder drains - it had apparently been fully charged.
Castle Ward
A female by the name of Edey was picked up on in here. Nothing else to report.
Day Room
Nothing to report.
Side Room 2
This was a very tiny room. First time going into this room, didn’t visit last time. Not much happening in here. However, when listening back to the Dictaphone recordings, there is a rather strange but quite clear voice in the background which would appear to say “help aids”. This comes across whilst the group are in mid discussion!
Nurses Quarters - downstairs (with Ian Shillito)
People kept coming into this room, so the protection had to restarted each time to rebuild any possible energy. Because of this, it was extremely difficult to focus properly, so I personally didn’t feel any benefit of this particular circle/séance – with no disrespect to anyone participating in the same. However, that said, numerous people said they were seeing different light sources i.e. stars – differing colours, someone said they were seeing the pyramids – personally and honestly, I did not witness any of this myself first hand, despite being in the room during this time. Ian mentioned a build up of energy in the middle of the circle. The room had appeared to become a lot darker during this point. Witnessing of various colours etc went on for some time. Someone also picked up on a nurse called Jean.
Nurses Quarters, upstairs side rooms
These are the 3 rooms previously visited by myself and the DPH member.
John and I ventured up into the rooms I visited last time I was here. I said nothing of previous findings and asked him to go into the 3 rooms and tell me his thoughts were.
The "lounge" – John felt something bad had happened in there, but felt it wasn’t the main area for whatever it was. He also picking up on a female presence in there.
The “bathroom” – John picked up on the name of June and also thought there was an unsettled feeling to this room.
The "box/bedroom" - John said “something went down in here… someone’s walking here like a day warden… I think it’s a male which is unusual as it is a nurses quarters". John was being affected by something in this room, we are not too sure of what this was. John also thought that this male could have been responsible for something, but he was unsure. The male presence was in there but should not have been. There was a possibility that the male may have stolen something. It was at this point that I noticed a flash of light in the area to where John was standing, near to the cupboard area - nothing used by us made this flash and there had been nothing outside that we were aware of during this time. This room is hidden away, for want of a better description and nothing was apparent from the window area. John felt the room was very foreboding. It almost felt like something was surrounding us in this room, as strange as that sounds, but the feeling was being picked up on all the same. I told John that I needed to come out of this room, I could not be in there much longer, the feeling was not nice by any means of description and I do not say that lightly!
The lounge revisited – John picked up on a sad/upset lady in here. He also picked up on something to do with the lady in this room and some connection to the box/bedroom…
When we reached the box/bedroom, John sensed the dark heavy atmosphere. I still felt really uneasy in this room, especially knowing what I did from last time in there.
The room felt the same as last time, nothing had altered in that regard. All I know is (and I don’t say this lightly as I am rarely bothered by these kind of things) I did not want to be in there alone. It was a very uneasy and unsettling atmosphere in the room!
Each of these 3 rooms became progressively darker as we went along, nothing to make this change occur from a natural source could be identified. What made this occurrence happen again, we do not know.
