Lots of noises, "orbs", the odd dark shadow and burning sensations...

Area B:
This area comprised of the staircase up into the West wing of the castle and then moving into the nursery, which holds the only main beam remaining from a fire.
In the nursery area a séance comprising of glass divination was held with Rob opening up the circle. Rob picked up on a male presence referred to as James.
Using dowsing rods and asking out for them to show any presence(s) in the room. They pointed into a corner of the room, which Rob indicated a presence being there prior to our entering that room.
On checking the Dictaphone, a couple of possible evp's were picked up:
1. The first one isn't very clear, but initial thoughts are of the words “help me”. This was picked up at a time when the group were talking and this noise is in the background. It was also at a time when Rob was doing the protection for the circle.
2. The second possible evp was picked up on the initial walk around prior to the actual vigils commencing. This one resembles a dog barking twice and is very loud on the dictaphone recording.
Whilst doing the glass divination, a cool breeze was experienced across our hands. In addition to this, the glass moved in quite a definite way when identifying the presence of Mary – a family relative of Tricia/Nicky. Rob also sensed that there was a frustrated male around but he would not come through because of Rob.
I personally experienced a searing pain in my right shoulder which felt like it was on fire. The urge to touch the shoulder was apparent but the experience made it feel too tender – there were no marks or anything on skin when checking, just the experience. When exiting the room the pain dissipated and wasn't experienced anywhere else in the castle during the night vigils.
Area A:
Library area doubling up as a nursery and leading into the dining room. The temperature in this area of the castle varied between 16-16.5 degrees. There are 3 main rooms comprising of (Room 1) a child's cot set up, wall flags and a fireplace (Room 2) this room has a large bay window and old laundry type contraptions and (Room 3) is what we deemed as the back room and this is where we would be conducting glass divination.
Room 3
I didn't personally feel anything in this room myself. However, we all heard continuous furniture movements from upstairs. Another group had moved roughly into the position we were hearing the movement from and it was taken that they were responsible for the same. Because the noise continued for quite some time and was distracting for our group to conduct any glass divination, we proceeded to venture upstairs to locate the said group. On questioning them as to whether they had made the noise, they confirmed that they had initially lifted and moved a table and some chairs but then settled down and had not dragged anything since - interpret this as you may...
Tricia was saying that research indicates that a Christian group had stayed in the castle in the past, in the area that our group were in. Apparently they had heard exactly the same kind of noises that we had witnessed... I will also leave this open for your own decision…
A cool draft was experienced around one group members legs, but no temperature differences were recorded differing from that above. Our group also witnessed a "whistle" type of sound - not made by any of us.
Room 2
Dowsing rods were used in here and indicated a presence in the bay window area. Someone else sensed a female presence in here too. Our group heard a noise coming from Room 3 resembling that of a shuffle/footstep type of sound. No-one was in that room. The temperature in this room varied between 15.8/9 degrees. The room felt slightly uneasy. Someone in our group also heard what they described to be that resembling a very light footstep. I did not personally experience this and I should point out that we were all stationary at this point.
Room 1
Tricia and Marg had come out of this room earlier in the morning fairly quickly. Not long after they came out I went into the room to take some pictures. I had only been in there for a short while and was the only person in the room at this point. I saw what can only be described as a shadow bearing down from the bay window area to the door where I was, hence to say I exited that room shortly after. This is the first time I have experienced a shadow of this type and have to admit it was quite an unsettling experience. There was nothing obvious in there to make the "shadow", never mind it's rapid movement towards the door! On asking why Tricia and Marg had come out of the room aforementioned, they said that this is what they had also seen...
...wall area where "shadow"
appeared to come looming down
Staircase:
I have to say this area of the castle is a very strange place indeed. The actual staircase felt alright to me, but it was the individual balcony sections bearing down onto and around the staircase area. Earlier in the evening, Marg and I were both drawn to one particular balcony. If you stood on the staircase facing downwards, as if you were walking down the same, looking up it was the balcony to the left on the first floor level. There was the feeling of being watched and possible movement – despite no-one being up there at that time. A male presence was sensed by several people.
Some of the group who were sitting in the centre of the stairs felt that they were in the way of something. I did not, however, experience this myself.
There was the occasional breeze – but this could be the result of the main entrance door perhaps being open… also heard were a few unexplained sounds of the shuffle/footstep variety. We were all sat on the stairs, so no-one was moving around in our group and no-one was in the areas from where which the sounds appeared to be coming from...
Abbey ruins/orangery area – outside access only:
Interesting areas but I personally did not experience anything.
Sewing Room:
Looking straight up from the staircase this is the designed circular piece of architecture on the ceiling and can only be located once climbing a fair few steps. Not for the feint hearted and could easily be responsible for any dizzy sensations!
A fairly peaceful none threatening area. I did not personally experience anything in this room, neither did the other 2 people who were with me.
Here are a few pictures I have tracked down to date to give you some idea of the castle in the daytime...
