This was a mini evening vigil taking place between
19:30-20:45 p.m. on Saturday 5th August 2006.
Moon Phase was 86% Full during the Waxing Gibbous.
Weather conditions - close and very hot.
Mary Anne Chaworth's grave, this also has an anchor on the side of the stone mound in tribute to the Commander of the RN - also a Chaworth...
REPORT:
This mini vigil was decided upon as a second to not being able to visit Annesley Hall itself, as a result of the current family residing therein and respecting their privacy. This is the churchyard located outside of the Hall grounds, as I believe there is a grave or graves sited within the Hall grounds itself.
We arrived at 19:30 p.m. on an extremely close evening, all was quite and there was no menacing disposition. In fact, the vigil seemed all too quiet, extremely peaceful - but as those of you who attend regular vigils, activity does not always occur in any given location.
We all experienced the smell of what can only be described as parma violet sweets. I would hasten to add here, that none of us were eating anything, let alone have anything smelling of the same. This was predominantly experienced near to the ruined church door area and around the area near Mary Chaworth's grave. However, no sooner as the smell was detected, it dissipated just as quickly.
In addition to this, the smell of what can only be described as Patchouli was detected. Again, none of us had anything like this on our person.
We are hoping to return at some point in the future for further investigation and to see whether the smells detected at this time, are experienced again.
There were no trees, bushes, shrubs, grasses etc around us which would produce such smells and I am unaware of anything in horticultural realms which would produce the same.
Crystal divination produced nothing.
The thermometer was not used in this instance, due to the location being an outside venue.
Pictures and dictaphone recordings are currently being examined and any findings will be revealed here, should this be the case.
GENERAL SELECTION OF PICTURES TAKEN:

This was a further mini evening vigil taking place between
19:15-21:00 p.m. on Wednesday 13th September 2006.
Moon Phase was 55% Full during the Waning Gibbous.
Weather conditions - 22 degrees, warm!
Use of crystal prior to investigation:
Asking if anything would be experienced – yes
Asking if male, female, young, old etc – young male
Asking if male associated with the churchyard – yes
Asking if the male was buried there – yes
Asking if we would get anything of interest – yes
General – check photographs well when loaded up!
Feeling generally – oppressive. Perhaps the weather!? Different to last time…
REPORT:
Sitting near the back of the churchyard near the “family” home using the crystal. On getting Dawn to ask a question in her mind without speaking the question aloud; asking the crystal for yes/no response; the crystal gave a yes answer. On asking Dawn if this was correct, she confirmed it was. Without naming names here, as it is personal information, she confirmed that it was something that neither Pete or I would know…
Later in the eventing we all sat at the rear of the churchyard near the “family” house and I asked some control questions of the crystal. I asked Dawn and Pete respectively and separately to ask a question in their mind and see how the crystal responded to their questions. A question Dawn asked was yes. I asked her if this was correct, she said it was. Pete asked a personal question which was no. He asked another question, again in his own mind and this again was given as a no. To this, I feel he was slightly surprised and I think disappointed with this, but will not divulge the reasoning behind it here, again with it being personal to him! One question by Pete received a "no" response and one further question received a "yes" response. Then Dawn and Pete wanted to know something about their house, again the questions were asked in Pete’s mind, the answer to the first question was given as "yes". Pete and Dawn both confirmed this was correct. Pete then went onto ask a further question on the same subject matter, this time the answer was no. Again, because this is personal information to them, this information will not be detailed herein.
The name of Jane was also detected whilst using the crystal. However, as you can appreciate, it is difficult to research a christian name without a surname or any other researchable information, so nothing further can be determined in this respect.
On asking if anyone was with us using the crystal and counting upwards from one, it had indicated the presence of 3 individuals with us. On asking if it was the 3 of us the response was "no." On confirming it was 3 people in spirit the response was "yes."
Walking around the churchyard generally, we went to where the derelict hall is, feeling drawn to the slatted window on the side of the property (if standing with your back to the ruined church and looking across at the hall).
Please note and be aware that if you visit this particular area of the churchyard there is a large drop down to the ground which is not clearly visible!
The dictaphone was left running in this area, the usual questions were asked i.e. "if there was anything with us to tell us their name..." etc. On listening to the dictaphone there is what appears to sound like a male saying “hello.” However, on listening to this several times, I personally feel it can be attributed to traffic passing by on the main road. I would like to point out here, though, that there are other sweeping sounds of traffic passing by, but nothing representing the same sound as that heard with the possible “hello”.
Also picked up on the dictaphone this time was a long drawn out male voice saying "Dimitrius". It would be interesting to know if anyone of this name was linked either with Annesley Hall or it's churchyard in the past...
Near to the ruined church wall area, the smell of what can only be described as a banana smell was detected. Dawn also picked up on what we smelt on our last visit, namely the parma violet smell.
At separate times, both Dawn and I both experienced what we can only describe as footsteps on the grass near to us. When Dawn mentioned her experience, I took some pictures and an “orb” like shape is present. Dawn’s experience was near the back wall near to the “family home”. My experience was near the side of the ruined church towards the front of the churchyard, the side of the hall.
We ended the evening at 9 p.m. due to a weather change.
